A scenic, short bike ride on resort trails brings you to the road into the artist's enclave of Crawford Bay ideally situated on the shores of Kootenay Lake. Here you'll discover an array of artisans, weavers, metal forgers, broom makers, potters and others. You'll also find the local market grocery store, a small collection of eclectic cafes, bakery, liquor store, gas station and a few dining spots.

Extraordinary Golf in a Cinematic Setting

55 Years Of Excellence! Elevated tee-decks offer dramatic views of Kokanee Springs' expansive fairways and the Kokanee Glacier. A driving range, pro shop, snack bar and practice greens are always busy during golf season. 28 species of trees line our course including Old-growth Cedars, Oak, Maple, Willows, Aspens, Chestnut, Hemlock, Turkish Walnut, Apple Trees, Cherry Trees, and Pear Trees to name just a few.  The trees provide shade to groomed walking and biking paths.

10 Kms of Onsite Resort Trails and Lots of Area Trails

From the resort's 10 kms of onsite trails, to trails heading into the mountains, or a meandering stroll along the newly created Crawford Creek Regional Park featuring a cottonwood forest that attracts many species of birds bringing birders from all over the world. There's also the Crawford Bay Wetland Trail as well as numerous other opportunities to enjoy the mountains, the lakeshore and the surrounding forests.

Pilot Bay Provincial Park

The park is located on Kootenay Lake. The bay at the park is good for swimming and fishing. In the park (274-hectares) there are many hiking trails around including Pilot Peninsula Trail (12.8km round-trip shoreline hike with access to multiple beaches). The iconic Pilot Bay Lighthouse is a favourite spot for photo buffs.
